How Cuxton.app works
Spotted something in the village that needs doing? Tell us here. We'll get it sorted, and you can see where it's up to.
You report it
Say what needs doing and where it is, and add a photo if you can. You don't need an account. For anything at your home, switch on Private location: only our admins will see where it is, the photos and your name.
We check it
An admin reads every report before it goes on the site. That keeps out anything unkind, anything that identifies someone, and anything that isn't really a village job.
We get it done
Depending on the job, one of three things happens. You can follow it on the job's page.
We do it ourselves
If it's a job we can do, we'll go and do it. That includes removing graffiti, clearing small amounts of rubbish, and technical help like setting up a printer.

We take it to the council
If it needs the council, we'll report it with all the details, visiting the site first if that helps. If the work isn't done, we follow it up with the council until it is.

We pay someone to do it
Some jobs need a professional. For those we'll hire a third party, and BookingNinja.io pays for it from its neighbourhood improvement fund.

You see it's done
Finished jobs get a big DONE stamp, usually with a photo of the finished work. If you left your email, we'll email you as it moves along, and when it's done.
Independent. Not political.
Cuxton.app is completely independent. We're not part of Medway Council, Cuxton Parish Council or any other council, and we're not connected to any political party. We contact the council on residents' behalf, like anyone can, but we don't speak for it and it doesn't speak for us.
What the labels mean
- Waiting for review
- Reported, waiting for an admin to check it. Only you can see it.
- Open
- Checked and on the board. We're working out the best way to get it done.
- Reported to Council
- The council has the details. We'll chase them if nothing happens.
- Third Party Contacted
- A contractor is lined up, paid for by the neighbourhood improvement fund.
- Booked in!
- We have a date to do it.
- Done
- Finished.
Your privacy
- Only your first name is shown, and not even that on private jobs.
- Your email is never shown. We only use it to send you updates.
- We remove the hidden location data phones store in photos.
- Private location hides the address, map pin and photos from everyone except our admins.
Not for emergencies
If someone is in danger, call 999. For anything dangerous, such as a gas smell, a fallen power line or a road that isn't safe, contact the emergency service or utility straight away rather than reporting it here.
